A Day in the Life of a
WordPress Technical Support Specialist

We believe that technical skills and customer service go hand-in-hand, and that’s what this role is all about – join our team and make a difference for our clients!
- Helping clients via phone and email with any technical challenges they may be facing on their website.
- Pro-actively maintaining clients' WordPress websites to ensure plugins are up-to-date, and any security vulnerabilities are patched.
- Assisting our internal team of Project Managers, Account Managers, Designers, and Digital Marketing Specialists with any technical items they may need help with.
- Installing Google Analytics tracking code, and advanced conversion tracking onto websites.
- Optimising WordPress websites for speed
- Work with the SEO team to implement technical SEO improvements
- Launching websites for clients, and navigating a variety of different hosting environments.
- Managing support tickets for clients, and ensuring quick turnaround times for solving issues
- Providing a first-class level of care, service, and expertise to clients.
- Keeping up to date with latest trends and methodologies to ensure we’re delivering superior results for our clients.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- A positive attitude!
- A “people person” who enjoys working with clients and providing first-class customer service
- Technical skills in areas such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, and WordPress (and a willingness to learn any of these areas you may not yet have experience in).
- An excellent understanding of how websites work, and experience with WordPress.
- A super-organised person with a passion for efficiency!
- Ability to be super-dependable to your teammates and clients.
- Ability to build great relationships with clients and teammates.
- Ability to follow existing processes, and assist with developing new processes.
- A willingness to learn and keep your knowledge up to date.
