As mentioned in our previous blog post with our COVID-19 update on 17 March 2020, we have been working on some flexible payment measures to help our clients during this time. We believe now more than ever is the time to invest in digital marketing activities, but we also understand many businesses are finding cashflow a challenge.

At Excite Media we are fortunate to be in a position where we can truly help businesses to uncover the opportunities in the changing business landscape.

Of course, Excite Media is not immune to changes in the economy, but we have a long-term view. We understand that it’s not only good business to provide support to our clients during this time – but it’s also the right thing to do. This is why we have created these flexible payment options to help each of our clients remain connected with Excite Media, so we can all thrive again together down the road.


Invoice Due Dates
Across the board we are able to offer extended due dates on Excite Media invoices. You may find your invoice due date has already been automatically extended, but if not please don’t hesitate to ask. Our accounts team is ready and willing to help you.


Website Projects
If you have an active website project with us, we are able to assist with extended payment terms on your project fees. For example, where you may have previously been on a 3 month payment plan, we may be able to extend this to 6 or 12 months.


Monthly Digital Marketing Programs (e.g. WebIQ, SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
If you are a client on one of our ongoing digital marketing programs, we encourage you to work with your Account Manager to uncover what opportunities there may be in your market – in fact we have developed our Thrival Plan to help with this, and we are more than happy to have a complimentary strategy call to run through this with you.

In terms of payments for ongoing monthly services, we can offer:

  • Extended due dates
  • Deferred payments (either fully or partially deferred)
  • Billing in arrears (instead of in advance)
  • 5% discount on monthly fees for clients wishing to commit to their digital marketing services for a period of 6 months in advance (payments can remain month-to-month).
  • For clients opting to pay via automatic direct debit from a bank account, we can offer a “reverse surcharge!”, meaning you save 1.5% off your bill for choosing this payment method.

ExciteCare – WordPress Maintenance & Security Plans
We are encouraging clients to keep their ExciteCare maintenance and security plans active – it really is critical to ensure your website is backed up, secure and protected from hackers.

Having said this, we are more than happy to work with you on flexible payment options to help keep this service active during this time. These include:

  • Extended due dates
  • Deferred payments (either fully or partially deferred)
  • Billing in arrears (instead of in advance)
  • Converting to month-to-month invoicing
  • Discounted service during the COVID-19 period
