We’ve done some research and found some information about all the government Small Business Grants, along with other financial support that’s available across Australia.

Here’s the list

Queensland

We are not aware of any Grants in Queensland at this time.


New South Wales

We are not aware of any Grants in New South Wales at this time.


Victoria

We are not aware of any Grants in Victoria at this time.


Western Australia

We are not aware of any Grants in Western Australia at this time.


South Australia

We are not aware of any Grants in South Australia at this time.


Northern Territory

We are not aware of any Grants in Northern Territory at this time.


Tasmania

Other Financial Assistance

Google “Free Ad Credits” for Small Business Program

Google are giving SMBs worldwide $340 million in ad credits, which can be used at any point until the end of 2020 across our Google Ads platforms.

Funding available: The ad credit amount will vary by customer based on past Google Ads spend, and the country and currency where the business and Google Ads account is set up.
Funding for: This is an ad credit for future Google Ads spend.
Application deadline: No application required ✅ You will automatically be notified if you’re eligible, starting in late May 2020.

Facebook Small Business Grants Program

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in over 30 countries where they operate. 

Funding available: Full details haven’t been made available yet.
Funding for: Keeping your workforce going strong, help with your rent costs, connecting with more customers and covering operational costs.
Application deadline: No application required ✅ You can get notified when the grant is available in your location.

MessageMedia Small Business Grant

MessageMedia’s Small Business Grants aim to give a boost to small businesses with a prize package that includes free financial support and free messaging services. 

Funding available: $2,200 AUD
Funding for: Messaging services to help drive new sales, improve customer service, collect feedback, connect with communities and more.
Application deadline: 14th August 2020
