A Day in the Life of an
SEO Specialist

We believe in delivering outstanding results for our clients, to help them achieve success online!
- Analysing SEO opportunities for clients and creating innovative strategies.
- Regularly sharing “wins” and “opportunities” with clients.
- Working with our internal team to provide SEO advice for their clients (or for Excite's own SEO!).
- Building processes and coordinating SEO activities such as local SEO, content creation, link building, and technical SEO. You will have in-house and external resources available to assist.
- Liaising with our web development team on various on-site technical issues such as meta tags, GA and GTM tracking, robots.txt, sitemaps, schema, server/speed issues, core vitals, and mobile experience.
- Keyword research and analysis.
- Working with our team of copywriters to develop content plans.
- Working with a variety of SEO tools to perform site audits to identify opportunities for SEO campaigns.
- Reviewing clients’ websites to find opportunities for improvements to conversion rates.
- Providing a first-class level of care, service, and value to your clients.
- Keeping up to date with latest trends and methodologies to ensure we’re delivering superior results for our clients.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- A positive attitude!
- A “people person” who loves working with our internal team and clients.
- A super-organised person with a passion for efficiency!
- Enthusiasm for the art of SEO (ideally with at least 2 years experience in SEO).
- A good understanding of current SEO trends and methodologies and a willingness to continuously keep your knowledge up to date.
- Ability to work across several projects at a time.
- Ability to be super-dependable to your teammates and clients.
- Ability to follow existing processes, and assist with developing new processes.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and other SEO tools.
