Many people use Google Alerts to get the latest news on their favourite band or sports team, however did you know that it can also be used as a powerful tool to help keep you informed about competitors, industry news and trends. You can even use it to monitor your business’ reputation on the web, by receiving a notification whenever your business is mentioned by someone else on the internet. It may be a negative review, a positive review, a blog post or even just a name drop.
