How Many Sales Leads Did You Get From Your Website Today?
One of the most common misconceptions we see in the web design industry is the expectation that getting a website will instantly generate more sales for you. While this sometimes is the case, in most cases people are disappointed with the number of visitors to their website, and therefore the amount of sales achieved.
However, there is an effective method of getting qualified leads to your website: Google Adwords.
Google Adwords is a novel invention in the world of advertising - you only pay when you get results! Here's how it works:
When you do a search in Google, you would have noticed the ads down the right hand side of the results page and up the very top with a blue background. These are Google Adwords ads. By selecting keywords that are relevant for your business, your ad can show up on the first page when someone searches for your selected keywords. The best part is that you only pay when someone clicks on your link AND you choose how much you would like to spend per day - you can start with as little as 50c a day if you like!
There are a wide number of tricks of the trade that can help you dramatically reduce the cost of using the Adwords system and are essential if you are to use Adwords effectively. To find out more, simply call us now on 1300 789 562 and we'll be happy to explain how you can use Adwords to start attracting potential clients to your website straight away! We can also explain the benefits of our Google Adwords Management package to you.

This is a great idea.. particularly for Google to make more money than they'll ever need! I've started experimenting with Adwords over the last few weeks and I've already gained some more business from it

How much do you need to spend a week to make it worthwhile?

Thanks for your question Lyn. Setting a daily budget is one of the best things about it. If you can only afford $0.50 a day, then you can set it that. Or even less if you want. The cost per click depends on a number of factors, including the competitiveness of your keyword, and how well you have optimised your ad. Please give me a call if you have any further questions, and I'd be happy to help you out.

I never click those ads - I never trust them! Although I guess a lot of people do, as I've heard it's Google's main money maker.

Jo, It depends on who your target market is. If your business is selling discounted, commodity items you may find use for this approach. However, if you are a premium service or sell quality products and do not discount, you are spot on! Bulgari, Ferrari and Armani build their brand on repute. Not on Google adverts. CEOs of organisations looking for excellent products and services, do not surf the blogosphere looking for them.
Build your brand and position it, to where your premium prospects will be.
